Independent directorship services business Altair Partners has opened a Guernsey office, licensed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission. The establishment of Altair Guernsey makes Altair the first fully-licensed pan-Channel Islands business of its kind.
Altair offers consultancy services and training and was founded in Jersey in 2012. Its institutional and entrepreneurial clients include private equity, real estate and hedge funds, listed companies and investment banks.
Altair Guernsey’s managing director, Michael Davy, said: “The team in Guernsey, with their wide-ranging board experience and knowledge of the Guernsey funds and corporate services industry, will now mean that the Altair group is uniquely placed to services this need across the Channel Islands.”
Ian Lambert, partner and co-founder at Altair, added: “We are very excited to expand our footprint into Guernsey and look forward to playing an active role in the further development of the local independent directorship services market.
“We have a strong and proven team with Michel Davy, Sandra Platts and Anne Ewing, who together will provide a solid foundation and launchpad for further growth of the business."
