Offshore litigator Jennifer Fox has re-joined law firm Ogier's growing Cayman dispute resolution team as a managing associate.
Ms Fox is the fifth new addition to the ten-member team since October 2017, following the arrival of Harneys' former head of litigation, Marc Kish, new associates Deborah Barker Roye (formerly from the English Bar and deputy director of the Cayman Islands Law School and author of the leading Cayman text on civil litigation), Gemma Lardner (from Harneys) and Britt Smith (from Baker & McKenzie).
With more than ten years' experience offshore after practising at the English Bar, Ms Fox whose previous role at Ogier was a senior associate, has broad offshore disputes experience in Cayman and the BVI in contentious insolvency matters, complex civil fraud claims, and disputes involving trusts and investment funds.
Ms Fox has previously acted for a defendant to the $9.2 billion Saad fraud litigation, advised on the Winsway restructuring of its offshore bond debt in Hong Kong and New York and acted for the liquidators of Fairfield Sentry (an offshore feeder fund into Madoff).
Ogier is the only law firm who provides advice on the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey and Luxembourg law through a network of offices that also includes Hong Kong, Shanghai and Tokyo.
