National UK law firm, Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth, has appointed a new senior associate solicitor to its tax, trust and estates team in Leeds.
Andrea Jones joins from a similar role as an associate solicitor from law firm, Ward Hadaway. However, her new role will include advising high-net-worth and commercial clients on wills and trusts, estate administration, tax planning, powers of attorney and court of protection issues. She is also experienced in dealing with international matters and inheritance planning.
Ms Jones is a founding member and vice-chair of the Collaborative Professionals Network which is a collaboration of several professional bodies in Yorkshire to promote networking between legal, accounting and business professionals in the Yorkshire region.
Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth's Leeds team is home to partner Paula Myers who heads up the firm's will, trust and estate disputes team as well as family law partner Teresa Davidson. Partner James Laycock also joined the team from legal services provider Gordon’s in November 2017.
Irwin Mitchell has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, London, Manchester, Southampton and Sheffield, and hopes to expand.
