British Overseas Territories leaders have been in London this week for talks over the UK's imposition of public registers of shared ownership on the BOTs.
Amongst the BOTs over in the UK is the BVI with its Deputy Premier Dr Kedrick Pickering having met the UK's Overseas Territories Minister, Lord Ahmad.
Dr Pickering told Lord Ahmad that the jurisdiction had "serious constitutional concerns of the BVI public by the decision and its potential negative economic impact on the financial services sector and wider BVI economy at a time when the Territory is recovering from Hurricanes Irma and Maria."
BOTs are expected to have to set up the public registers by 2020.
