Join wealth management leaders aiding charity at the eighth annual Grouse & Grape luncheon

The eighth annual Grouse & Grape Luncheon is nearly upon us, with tickets to the charitable event for the wealth management sector likely to sell out.

Each autumn the Grouse & Grape Luncheon brings together 350 decision makers from the family office and wealth management sector for a feast of grouse, fine wines and selected cheeses, served in a relaxed yet magnificent historic setting: London’s iconic Spencer House.

This year the event, taking place in three weeks time on Tuesday, 9 October, will again benefit The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, an ambitious charity which challenges the view that Parkinson’s is incurable, and looks to find treatments which slow, stop or even reverse the disease. Currently, management of the condition is only symptomatic.

The 2017 event raised £35,000 for the organisation, including £7,000 from the raffle.

Parkinson’s is a degenerative neurological condition characterised by tremors, stiffness, slowness of movement and balance problems, as well as non-movement related symptoms such as chronic pain, sleep disturbance and depression. People with Parkinson’s still rely on the same treatments that were first prescribed in the 1960s.

Rupert Phelps, Grouse & Grape organising committee member, outlined three goals for the luncheon: “Support a superbly run charity, have some unashamedly useful business networking, all in a friendly and happy gathering”.
