The UK Government has announced that it will publish its next Budget on Monday 29 October 2018.
The earlier than expected date has been chosen to avoid clashes with crucial Brexit negotiations set for November.
A treasury spokesman also said that the date would fit in with the availability of ministers as well as official data releases.
Tweting the announcement, Chancellor Philip Hammond said that the Budget would see him setting out "how our balanced approach is getting debt falling while supporting our vital public services, and how we are building a stronger, more prosperous economy."
