Stamp duty taxes receipts increase by six percent to £16.4 billion between 2016-17 and 2017-18, according to statistics released by HMRC. At the same time, stamp taxes on shares (SDRT and SD) decreased by five percent to £3.520 billion, while land and property stamp taxes (SDLT) increased by 10 percent to £12.905 billion
