Scottish law firm Macdonald Henderson has appointed two to its private client and corporate teams.
Victoria Lawson has been appointed as conveyancing executive in the private client team, joining the firm from Scottish conveyancing firm McVey & Murricane. Ms Lawson has much experience in all areas of domestic property purchases, sales and remortgages, negotiation of property purchases and sales and the maintenance of client relations and managing conveyancers.
Meanwhile, Colm Kerr has been appointed as a trainee solicitor in the corporate team. Mr Kerr carries out detailed contract reviews and diligence exercises, as well as providing support on various acquisitions, disposals, investments and management buy-outs.
Macdonald Henderson’s managing director, David Beveridge, said: “We are proud to welcome Victoria and Colm to the firm. We continue to observe opportunities for growth in our firm’s key practice areas, namely corporate, commercial property, private client and dispute resolution.
“These appointments mark something of a milestone, being the achievement of a doubling in size (in terms of headcount) for the firm since our management buyout in 2009.”
Mr Beveridge concluded: “We feel well positioned to take advantage of continually improving market conditions and are grateful for the continued support of our clients, contacts and friends in business.”
