RSM UK has appointed David Gwilliam as its new chief executive officer from 1 April 2018.
Mr Gwilliam will replace current chief executive Laurence Longe, who after 22 years in the role will become chairman of RSM UK on 1 April.
Mr Gwilliam was formerly RSM UK’s chief operating officer. In that role has been heavily involved with international matters as well as being a member of the national management team that has responsibility for the management and future strategy of the firm.
A 2017 eprivateclient Top Accountancy Firm, RSM has nearly 3,500 partners and staff operating from 35 locations throughout the UK. For the year ending 31 March 2017, RSM generated revenues of £319 million. RSM UK is a member firm of RSM International - a network that spans over 120 countries, 800 offices and more than 41,400 people, with a fee income of more than $5 billion.
