New York-based EisnerAmper, a US firm which provides accounting, tax and consulting services to global financial firms, has opened a London office. It has appointed Robert Mirsky as head of asset management group and head of the new office.
“As Brexit unfolds, Europe is facing an unprecedented period of economic and regulatory challenges and opportunities,” said Charles Weinstein, chief executive of EisnerAmper LLP.
“Adding Robert to our team will greatly enhance our ability to offer clients highly specialized, expert financial advisory services in this growing yet rapidly changing market.”
Mr Mirsky was previously a partner and head of global hedge funds at KPMG US. Prior to this he was head of headge funds EMEA ay KPMG UK and a partner at Laven Partners.
He also is the founder and chairman emeritus of the child protection charity Help for Children UK and has testified before the UK Parliament on strategies for encouraging charitable giving across the financial services sector.
