RSM UK has appointed John Taylor and Alex Tait as the regional managing partners (RMPs) for its Southern and Scotland & Northern Ireland regions respectively.
Mr Taylor, who has been with the firm since 2007, succeeds Elfed Jarvis as RMP for the Southern region, and in doing so gives up his dual office managing partner (OMP) role for the firm’s Southampton and Guildford offices. Consequently, Chris Hurren is appointed OMP for the firm’s Guildford office, and Paul Anthony becomes OMP for its Southampton office.
Mr Tait, who has been with RSM since 1996, succeeds Robert Ross as RMP for Scotland & Northern Ireland following his appointment as chief operating officer.
David Gwilliam, chief executive of RSM, said: "This is a hugely exciting period for the development and growth of the firm. With our breadth and depth of service and sector capabilities we enjoy the strongest regional presence in the middle market, and both John and Alex will work to strengthen and grow our market position in their regions."
RSM is an audit, tax and consulting firm to the middle market with nearly 3,500 partners and staff operating from 35 locations throughout the UK.
