UK law firm Kingsley Napley has appointed James Ward as a partner and head of its private client team, effective 10 September.
Mr Ward will lead a team comprising three other partners and four associates at Kingsley Napley, which includes tax and trusts practitioner Jim Sawer and court of protection specialists Simon Hardy and Anita Gill.
Mr Ward has joined the firm from London law firm Seddons, where he was head of its private wealth team since 2015. Mr Ward has experience advising wealthy families and individuals on financial planning, wealth protection and tax mitigation and he advises executors on estate administration and trustees on trust administration, as well as on the creation of trust structures and the drafting and variation of wills.
Prior to joining Seddons, Mr Ward was a partner in the private client department of Lee Bolton Monier-Williams.
