Law firm DWF has appointed director Christopher Noel from Addleshaw Goddard to head its Manchester private capital team as the business looks to further enhances its private wealth offering nationwide.
With over 13 years' experience, Mr Noel specialises in advising ultra- and high-net worth individuals, family trusts, business owners, entrepreneurs, charities and corporate entities. His work includes high net worth tax planning and wealth protection, wills, family investment companies, the creation and administration of trusts, the administration of estates, and advising regional businesses and the family interests behind them.
Mr Noel also has experience in advising on residence and domicile and in acting for offshore trustees and international individuals in relation to UK assets and taxes.
At DWF, Mr Noel has been tasked with enhancing the practice's existing presence in the private client market across the UK as well as working with the firm's international offices to advise high net worth and ultra-high net worth international families on their UK and global holdings and structures.
In addition, he will be working closely with the firm's dedicated national contentious trusts and estates disputes team. He has a wide range of experience on trust disputes, both in the UK and internationally, and in advising on high value and complex estate and trust claims. Mr Noel is a full member of both the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
