Charity Investments, an online platform that offers charities the ability to review their investment managers and market information, has launched its own website, which it claims is the first web portal in the UK combining all relevant information on charity investment.
The website is designed to help charities make better decisions with the assets under their control. It is available at no cost to all charities and not-for-profit organisations who have investments or cash to invest.
The website offers a free resource combining a generic manager directory and search function, charity pooled fund and peer group performance analysis, a glossary of investment terms and a nationwide diary of trustee training events.
Charity Investments was founded by Lynn Pates and Guy Davies, who have experience in charity investment, working both within the charity investment sector and in a variety of voluntary roles with charities in the UK.
“We see continued pressure on charities to make better decisions with their investments. Charity trustees who do not have a full grasp of the investment options available to them can spend considerable time and money trying to understand what is available and still remain confused. Charity Investments helps to overcome this, as the first dedicated and impartial website to help charities with this key governance issue,” said Mr Davies.
