Trust Corporation International has bolstered its US offering with the appointment of American lawyer Catja Carrell, who has joined the Guernsey-based specialist independent trust company in the role of legal officer.
While Mrs Carrell will not be providing advice to clients, she will be working closely with the existing team dedicated to developing the firm’s US offering.
Prior to joining Trust Corporation International, Mrs Carrell worked at law firm Butler Snow in London as a tax associate and focused largely on advising on US federal tax rules with respect to income, estate and gift tax issues.
Trust Corporation International has a strong US offering with an established and growing US client base as well as an affiliated business based in Nevada.
