There are now just four days left to snap up tickets for the eighth annual Grouse & Grape Luncheon, held in support of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust (CPT), a charity dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s.
On 9 October over 300 city professionals will gather in Spencer House, the historic 18th century aristocratic palace in London’s West End for a unique networking event which has developed a loyal and ever-growing following since its inception eight years ago. This event is generously supported by headline sponsor, CRUX Asset Management.
The Grouse & Grape Luncheon is an offshoot of another firmly established event in the City’s social calendar, the Gulls’ Eggs Luncheon, held annually at Merchant Taylors’ Hall. Grouse & Grape provides another opportunity to network in one of London’s grandest venues, while supporting vital research into Parkinson’s.
As the name suggests, guests at the Grouse & Grape Luncheon are traditionally served seasonal grouse and fresh grapes, along with a selection of fine wines and cheeses.
However, this year, due to the unexpected and unseasonal weather experienced in the UK since spring, grouse moors have seen a difficult season. The committee has therefore decided to serve partridge instead, again kindly donated from High Helbeck Estate in Cumbria who have donated grouse in the past.
