Enhancements to Jersey’s trusts laws are introduced, aimed at developing the legislation so that Jersey retains a competitive basis against other jurisdictions. Among the changes in Amendment No.7 are clarification of questions of disclosure to beneficiaries, and extensions to indemnity provisions to trustees and others when they retire or distribute trust property or when a trust is ended or revoked
