Global advisory firm - GGI (Geneva Group International) - has appointed Stefano Loconte as global chairperson of its trust & estate planning practice group, effective October 22 2018.
The firm said that Professor Loconte was given the three year role as a result of his long experience in dealing with high net worth individuals.
GGI's trust & estate planning group was created to satisfy the needs of those in the trust and estate profession to be able to identify cross-border issues and to develop and maintain a network of colleagues with whom such issues can be properly addressed.
Prof. Loconte, founder and managing partner of Italian law firm Loconte & Partners, stated: “My mandate will be consistent with the objectives and mission of the working group. I will promote the debate on the legal and fiscal aspects of cross border trust and estate planning and administration with the goal to facilitate the exchange and circulation of ideas between group members. Moreover, I will encourage study sessions to address the practical aspects of transnational trusts and, in general, of asset planning."
GGI is a global alliance of accounting, consulting and law firms that are committed to providing clients with solutions for their international business requirements.
Loconte & Partners was founded in 1996. With offices in Bari, London, Milan, New York, Rome and Padua, the firm employs 40 professionals.
